ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER (JAPANESE SPEAKING)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·           Assist in merchandise order placement and planning in accordance with merchandising strategies.

·           Handle merchandise allocations to POS and coordinate with stores and warehouse on stock replenishment issues.

·           Work closely with retail stores to ensure efficient product supply and maximize sales opportunities.

·           Prepare regular sales, stock and performance reports for management review.

·           Communicate with China and overseas vendor, follow up orders, sampling and shipping arrangements

·           Support ad hoc projects as assigned

 

REQUIRMENTS

·           1–2 years’ relevant experience in merchandising or retail; experience in the retail market is an advantage.

·           Strong retail market sense and interest in product and customer trends.

·           Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.

·           Good in both written and spoken English & Cantonese, knowledge of Japanese or Mandarin is an advantage.

·           Good computer skills, especially in MS Excel.
